About Our Founder,
Natasha M. Stephens
Natasha M. Stephens, Ph.D., MSEd, was born and raised in Connecticut by her parents, George and Cherrie, who instilled love, humility, and support in her from a young age. She wants to provide seniors with the same care she received.
In 2017, Tasha lost her father to prostate cancer. With firsthand knowledge of the assistance a home health agency can provide to a loved one with acute illness and her background in education, she founded Essential Response Home Health Services.
Tasha wanted to create a space to support and assist people with acute illnesses and disabilities. She also wants to be a pipeline for individuals who aspire to work in health care.

Tasha loves learning new things and applying those lessons to her life to help others along the way. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University, a Master’s in Education from Old Dominion University, a degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a Master’s of Legal Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
